Mr. Lindell is the 8th grade language arts teacher. He has been teaching language arts at Steele for the past five years. He was born and raised near Flint, MI, but his family is originally from Buffalo, New York. Mr. Lindell is a graduate of Grand Valley State University with teaching degrees in English and Biology. He is looking forward to GVSU’s 4th National Football Championship in 5 years this fall. He has many interests and hobbies that include: collecting comics, raising and breeding reptiles and amphibians, playing and coaching tennis, playing basketball, desert hiking in canyons, rustic mountain hiking, boating, canoeing, fishing, and enjoying every movie possible. He and his wife were sleeping in a small tent on a mountain in Tennessee when the tornadoes broke out this past spring…and they loved it! His goal this year is to make sure every student succeeds while having fun. He is also an avid Detroit sports fan. GO PISTONS!!!
