Popcorn Sale - Thursday September 20th

 

This week is our first week of homework.  I hope all is going well.  Your child should complete only an activity or two each night.  If they are eager to do more, have them read!  Please call with any questions or concerns you may have about homework or spelling.

 

Our story this week is called Get Up and Go.  I tells all about a little girl getting ready to go to school.  It is a good math story as well!

 

In math this week we will begin working with doubles.  Ask your child to tell you what happens when things fall into  the magic pot!

 

In social studies we will begin talking about the differences between city living and country living.  We hope to take a trip to the country sometime next month.
