Special Friend's Day

Tuesday, May 22nd

Please join us for Special Friend's Day here at Oakview!  Come to our classroom at 11:15 where you will participate in a second grade activity with your student.  Then at 11:55 you will join your second grade student for lunch and lunch recess.  Your Special Friend's Day will conclude at 12:35.  Your child will say good-bye to you at the door and they will until the end of the day.  Don't forget to return the sign-up sheet along with your $2.50 for lunch.  It should be a lot of fun.  We hope you can join us! 

 

Field Day

Thursday, May 24

We need volunteers to help run field day.  If you are available from 12:00-3:00 on that Thursday, we would love to have you!  Parents will either work a game station or help walk the class through the different stations. 

 

 

Field Trip

Grand Rapids Children's Museum

Our end of the year field trip to the Grand Rapids Children's Museum will be on Wednesday, May 30th.  Your child will need to have a sack lunch.  You may purchase one from school or pack one from home.  I have already contacted some of you to be chaperones.  If I have not contacted you, you may still come with us but you will need to pay $2.00 and arrange your own transporation.  This is a special trip for your second grader.  No siblings, please!
