About Us
This year your child will have two teachers – Ms. Van Huesen teaches reading and writing in the morning and Mr. Best teaches math, science, and social studies in the afternoon. Even though we have different last names, we are married and have two children.
About Ms. V
I am in my 13th year of teaching – I taught 5 years in Madison, Wisconsin, and this is my 8th year of teaching in Muskegon. I have a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in multicultural education.
About Mr. Best
I am in my 4th year of teaching for Muskegon Public Schools. I have a master's degree from Aquinas College and grew up in Upstate New York.
