Welcome to Ms. Ruiz's 1st Grade Classroom

My name is Miss Christina Ruiz. I have been teaching at Nims for a number of years, as

a first grade teacher. I look forward to this school year. Feel free to contact me

have any questions or concerns at anytime throughout the school year. I am also

available prior to the start of school, if you should need to meet with me.

Nims is a wonderful school with a great and caring staff. We have an open door

policy and welcome you to visit and participate as your schedule allows.

The PTO meets monthly, usually the first Tuesday of the month. Check the

Nims Newsletter for the dates and times for the PTO meetings.

Classroom Parent

I welcome parents to work in our classroom, at their convenience. If your

schedule allows to come in during the school day, there is always

something I can find for you to assist with.

Box Tops

Please remember to send your Box Tops for Education as well

as your Campbell Soup Labels. Periodically we will have

grade level competitions with awesome prizes. The

Nims Newsletter has information about Box Tops.

Tuesdays: Music and Computer Lab

Wednesdays: Library and Show and Tell

Thursdays: Computer Lab II and GYM

Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for Gym on Fridays.
