Reading - Every Thursday the reading text book goes home.  Students are required to read it aloud to someone as homework.  Reading aloud helps in comprehension and it's fun to hear new stories!

Camp  - Camp Miniwanka is located near Stony Lake on the shores of Lake Michigan.   We go at the end of May each year.    Want to know more about Camp Miniwanka?  Click on this link -

Safety Patrol     

      Outside safety patrol should be on their corners by 8:20am.  Afterschool they stay until 3:40pm

      Inside safety patrol should be on their posts by 8:25am.  Afterschool they stay until 3:35pm

                                                

Holidays 

     There are 3 holiday parties a year.  I split the class into 3 groups so each child is only responsible to bring treats to one party a year.  Of course, you may bring treats to any party you want.

     

Accelerated Reader   -           

     Are you wondering if your favorite book at home is an accelerated reader book?  Here are the directions to view the AR book list at Nims.
