Room 211 is off to a great start. Please feel free to stop by anytime, to see what we are learning. Third graders are lots of fun. This is when you may see some behavior changes at home. At this age they want to be more independent, but are not always as ready as they think they are.
By the end of third grade we hope that all students will
- Be able to add and subtract with regrouping
- Pass an addition and subtraction mad minute
- Be able to multiply and divide with one digit numbers
- Pass a multiplication mad minute
- Be able to read 110 words per minute
- Be able to pass a comprehension test on a story
- Be able to write a personal story using the writing process
