Welcome !!

        I am really looking forward to this school year! The kids on my classlist are awesome--I know this from working with them from last year. We will start our regular resource room schedule Wednesday September 10th. Hopefully we will be done with specials/Reading First schedules and changes.

       One of my major objectives for September and early October is studying for the MEAP. We will focus on writing and reading. The writing will consist of passages from personal  past experiences and reviewing other students essays.

       Some of the students will be reviewing basic math skills-addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. We will also touch on finding perimeters, counting money, greater than and less than equations. Nims made AYP--adequate yearly progress- this past year so we need to keep on learning!
