Welcome to the Nims School Reading First web page!

Reading First is a federal grant that supports literacy in schools for grades kindergarten through third. Our Reading First teachers and staff have received extensive training on the best practices for teaching our students how to become successful, literate adults. Reading First has also allowed Nims School to purchase materials for classrooms that support students on their journey to become lifelong learners.

The Nims School Reading First staff is the best! Thanks to their dedication and hard work, in the last three years we have seen student performance soar in all areas of literacy.  Our fourth year of Reading First will prove to just as sucessful.  Keep up the excellent work Reading First teachers and staff!
