Mr. DeMarse

Is an educator, drummer, and clinician.

 

He has been teaching for over 29 years. He has a master's degree in Learning Disabilities and teaches in a resource room for grades k-5 at Nelson Elementary School.  Mr. DeMarse also volunteers to teach drumming to over 56 3rd-5th grade and special education students after school twice a week.

 

He also is the creator and organizer of West Michigan's Annual "Fun with Drums Concert/Clinic."  Mr. DeMarse has performed with some of the top drummers in the world like; Derico Watson (Victor Wooten), Julio Figueroa (2x Grammy award drummer), Zoro (Lenny Kravitz), Don Famularo (International Cliniciam), and Tim Froncek (Woody Herman). He also has performed with award winning artist like: Tomas' Esparaza, Vincent Hyes, Big Daddy Fox, and Carl Webb.

 

He reisides in Grand Haven with his wife.
