G.E.D. Preparation & Testing
The G.E.D. (General Education Development) Test are a series of five multiple choice test in the areas of:
- Language Arts: Reading
- Language Arts: Writing
- Math
- Science
- Social Studies
You are eligible to take the tests if you are not enrolled in, and have not graduated from high school and are 18 years of age or older. Persons 17 years of age may test if they have been out of school for one year or have a verified opportunity to enter the armed forces.

Complete the Transcript Request form below and mail your completed form to the below address. You also may use this form to order official transcripts for your own records.

For your protection, the Privacy Act of 1974 requires written permission with your signature in order to release student records. The Muskegon Training & Education Center (M-TEC) cannot release transcript or GED score information over the telephone.
Transcript and diploma requests take approximately one week to process after they are received. Incomplete or incorrect information will cause processing delays.
