MSRP

 

The Michigan School Readiness Program is a pre-kindergarten experience that focuses on promoting productive learning attitudes and fostering positive self-images.

 

Language Arts - The classroom experience will encourage a love for reading, self-expression, active listening and observation of the world around them.

Math/Technology - Students will learn to recognize shapes, patterns, numbers, count to 10, match quantities and compare sizes. Children will also be exposed to a variety of technology such as cassette recorders, calculators and computers.

Learning Behaviors - Pre-Kindergarten students will learn to share, cooperate with other children and adults, make choices and decisions and see themselves as learners.

Physical Development – Children will develop coordination and fine motor skills, and understand the need for wellness and physical fitness.

The Arts – Students are provided the opportunity to use their imagination, express feelings and let their creativity bloom. Painting, molding clay, music and dance all enhance the child’s learning experiences.
