I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to our new school year and to introduce myself as your new Principal. It is a privilege to be working once again for the Muskegon Public Schools and especially serving the Moon School community.
On our website you will find answers to questions regarding our school policies and procedures and events taking place in our school. Your role as a parent or guardian is the most significant in the lives of your children and our students. My expectation is that we will support each other in the social and emotional development of our children. Only in this way can we provide the best learning environment for our students and for their success in school.
We can only ask for realistic contributions from our parents, and in so doing, I hope to see many of you in our hallways, classrooms and playgrounds. Your presence at Moon School regardless of its duration or frequency demonstrates to our children that you care about them and how they do in school. Partnerships are not easy to establish. My hope and desire is that we, the faculty and support staff of Moon School, will work to create a strong foundation of trust, understanding and partnership with our parents and community.
