Conferences

The Moon staff would like to thank those parents who attended spring conferences.  As always, it's wonderful to get such great parental support.  Your attendance sends the message to your child that you value his/her education.  Once again, thank you for your continued support.

Schools of Choice

The schools of choice window for Muskegon Public Schools will begin on April 9th and ends on May 14.  If you have children that are attending Moon School through schools of choice and live outside of the Muskegon Public School District, it is important that you return the intent to continue form you received through the mail.

Kindergarten Round-Up

We have scheduled Pre-K and Kindergarten Round Up for April 26 from 12:30-3:30 in Moon School's library.  If you have a child or children who will turn 4 or 5 before December 1, 2012 mark your calendar and plan to attend our Pre-K/Kindergarten Round-up.  Space is limited for our Pre-K program and we are accepting applications on a first come first serve basis.  Please call our office 720-2700 if you have further questions.

Parent and Child Corner

Here's an easy way to encourage your child to follow directions:  

Have him check in with you when he's finished.  Your might say "Please put away your art supplies and tell me when you're finished."  This gives your child a goal.  It also gives you a chance to recognize good work.  "Thanks for doing such a neat job, Jessie.  I'm proud of you."
