Congratulations to our student Britney Slater, for being chosen as the
" ULTIMATE" Student of the Month,
She will receive a dinner for her family & a friend at the Pizza Ranch, on May 15th.
She also will be given $25, and a tee shirt saying she was the ULTIMATE Student.
All this is compliments of The Northside Optimist Club of Muskegon. Thanks to them!
Another great choice from a very good student who makes great choices, herself!
Keep up the good work, next year! We are all proud of your efforts Britney!

Celebrating EARTH DAY McLaughlin Style .

Congratulations to all those studnts from our class and Miss Billings, Kindergarten class for their efforts on Earth Day to clean up our school yard. These students picked up over 15 garbage bags full of paper and plastic and trash on our playground area. May their efforts and example be an inspiration to all of us to do our part in making this a better planet to live on. .
Look for our the new neighborhood park on Terrace Street to start blooming soon. Last fall students from McLaughlin planted many flowers that are starting to bloom. The McLaughlin Neighborhood Association just leased the land for a new neighborhood park. Construction will begin this summer on a new playground area in this new park. Together we can make a difference! Volunteer if you can.
