Dear Parents,

What an exciting month March is! Why? It is MARCH IS READING MONTH! Reading as you know by now is one of the most important subjects that our children work on in school because it affects every other subject even math!

Your child will be bringing home a separate MARCH IS READING MONTH Calendar. You may want to post it someplace safe because there are so many SPECIAL days and activities and we'd like everyone to participate. Highlights of these days are listed below:

Wear green day - March 17

Literacy Night - March 18, 5:30 - 7:00

Popcorn Sale - March 19 - 25 cents

Team Spirit Day - March 22

Read a Hat, Button or Shirt Day - March 23

Career Day - March 24

Bring a Stuffed Animal to School Day - March 25

Pajama Day - March 26

Parent Teacher Conferences are also scheduled for March 24 between 4:00 - 7:00 and again on March 25 between 12:30 - 4:00 and 5:00 - 8:00. Teachers will schedule your appointment and send it home with your child. If the time is not convenient for you, be sure and contact your child's teacher so we can accommodate you.
