Muskegon Public Schools Curriculum Booklets

What is a Curriculum?

A curriculum describes what students will learn in school. Muskegon Public Schools’ curriculum is designed to meet the needs of your child and all the children in our schools. In our district, committees of staff members develop the curriculum, which is then adopted by the Board of Education. These booklets contain what is called the core curriculum, or the main subjects of Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies. The curriculum for each of these subject areas is up to date and meets challenging State of Michigan and national standards.
