Dr. Laura Kensrud, DDSDentist Q: Where did you go to school? A: I went to Michigan State University for my undergraduate classes and attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry to become a dentist. Q: Where else have you worked to gain your experience? A: I have been working as a full time dentist at Hackley Community Care center since May 2009. Q: Why do you want to work at the Teen Health Center? A: Growing up, my mother was a high school teacher and eventually became the counselor of my high school. Because of this, I basically grew up in the high school and was always around students. As I grew up I found a love of helping people and improving smiles. When I heard that Muskegon High School was opening a dental clinic, I knew it would be the perfect opportunity to mix healing and high school! I very much look forward to meeting everyone at the high school.
