Examples of Services Provided With Parent Consent

• Management of chronic illness
• Sick care/minor illness treatment
• Medication dispensing
• Immunizations
• Complete, well child, and sports physicals
• First aid
• Basic laboratory tests(strep throat test/etc.)
• Dental services
• Nutrition advice
• Hearing and vision screening
• Risk assessment questionnaire
• Referrals to community resources
• Referrals for specialty care such as dental, vision, hearing, orthopedics, etc.
• Medicaid and MI Child enrollment

Services Provided Without Parent Consent, if 14 years or older

• Counseling and referral for abuse or neglect
• Mental health/counseling
• Prenatal (pregnancy) care and/or referrals
• Family Planning Services including abstinence, birth control counseling, and pregnancy test
• Sexually transmitted infection diagnosis and treatment
• Substance abuse counseling and referral
• HIV screening and referrals
